Tips and Advice to Remove Facial Hair

A lot of women love the look of facial hair on their man, but facial hair on themselves is not usually a welcome sight. All women have it but it only becomes an issue when its starts to become noticeable, and affect their confidence. Luckily there are lots of ways to deal with it and different things work well for different areas of the face.

This is a very common technique and can be used on many parts of the face. Many women get their eyebrows waxed as an essential part of their beauty regime, as it can be used on the upper lip, chin, and cheeks. You could pay for a beautician to remove the hair for you in a salon, but that could mean being out in public with temporary red patches on your face, when it’s easy (and potentially much cheaper) to do in the privacy of your own home.

Threading is another option that is very popular for many different areas of the face, especially the eyebrows. However, if you aren’t a trained expert yourself, you will need a trained beautician to do it for you. Luckily, this doesn’t always mean a trip to the salon as there are now threading kiosks popping up in most shopping malls and beauty stores. Threading is very precise as you can remove a single hair at a time, as well as a whole row at once, which makes it a great method for shaping eyebrows.

This method is mostly used to bleach upper lip hairs so that they become less noticeable. You can apply the special facial bleach at home and, after ten minutes, remove it with cold water. With this technique there is no risk of ingrown hairs as you aren’t removing the hair follicle. However, this also means that the surface will not be completely smooth and hairless. The hairs will still be there, just less noticeable. But there are risks when it comes to bleaching, which many people find off-putting. It is important to be aware of the chemicals involved in bleaching and to read the instructions very carefully before use.

This is quite a slow process that involves using a pair of tweezers to pluck out one hair at a time. It can be painful, but is very precise when trying to remove that one remaining hair! It is a great trick for removing any stray hairs that have been missed, during waxing for instance.  It is smart to invest in a good pair of tweezers for best results as cheaper ones could make the process much trickier!
