About VEET® Creams

Why should the product be tested before each use when it has been used successfully in the past?

The skin is a complex organ, and sensitive to changes in hormone levels. Since our skin is constantly changing, it is necessary to test each time to avoid any adverse reaction to the ingredients of the products.

What if I have sensitive skin?

If you have no adverse reaction when testing the product as per the Directions for Use and Precautions, there is no reason why you cannot use a VEET® product. The VEET® range includes VEET® hair Removal Gel Cream Sensitive Formula, VEET® Sensitive Formula Hair Removal Lotion Removal Lotion and VEET® Salon Line™ Ready to Use Wax Strips for Sensitive Skin.

How long after washing with soap must I wait to use a depilatory?

Using soap prior to depilation should be fine as long as the area is totally rinsed, dried and free from any residue.

How long should I wait before using VEET® after having shaved?

Our best advice is to not use any VEET® products on skin which has been shaved in the last 72 hours.

How long do I have to wait between applications of VEET® products?

We advise that you wait 72 hours between applications.

Does Aloe Vera work as a moisturizing agent?

Yes, Aloe Vera is a natural ingredient for its skin conditioning properties as an emollient (softener) and humectant.

Can anyone, regardless of age or gender, use VEET®?

It could be used as long as the person is healthy, a patch test is conducted, and directions are followed carefully. It is advisable for teenagers under 16 to be supervised by an adult when using any depilatory method.

Can VEET® be used after using a self-tanning product?

Wait 24 hours after use of a self-tanning lotion before using a VEET® Product.

Where did the name VEET® come from? Does it have any connection to the product Neet Hair Remover?

It is a French brand/formula of depilatories with a heritage dating back 80 years. It is owned by the parent company Neet and has now replaced the Neet brand in the US and Canada.
